PR Director Job Description Phoenix
The Phoenix office of The Ferraro Group is seeking a Public Relations Account Supervisor to lead a variety of accounts in the real estate, construction, gaming and healthcare industry. Would report to the Principal of the Phoenix Office. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits.
Duties:
- Manage multiple accounts, clients and deadlines
- Strategic planning
- Proactive media pitching, secure and manage client interviews and positive media coverage
- Media training
- Coordination of various client and community partners
- Complex event management
- Manage onsite TV interviews, prep client, gather/create props, etc.
- Crisis communication management
- Writing and editing PR documents, annual reports and social media content
- Social media content creation and channel management (boosting and promoting social media posts)
- Research and contribute to strategic planning and creative campaign brainstorm
- Managing onsite client special events and interactive customer experiences
- Tracking and reporting for social media and media coverage
- Create, implement and report on annual communications plans for various clients
- Familiarity with Critical Mention and other media tools
Requirements
- 7-15 years experience in Public Relations and or Journalism
- Proficient in writing and editing utilizing AP Style
- Experienced in Public Relations writing and editing including media alerts, press releases, communications plans, fact sheets, etc.
- Strong Arizona media relationships and familiarity pitching TV, Radio, Print and Lifestyle Bloggers/Influencers
- National media pitching experience in construction and real estate
- Regional media relations in AZ, NM, Florida, Colorado and Texas
- Social Media Creation and Management experience and familiar with various platforms – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
- Special event management and coordination experience
- Weekend and Afterhours networking may be required

Salary: Dependent on Experience
Start Date: Immediately
