On Jan. 27, Fisher & Phillips LLP, a labor and employment law firm, and the City of Las Vegas, are presenting a free seminar, “Lawfully Recruiting and Hiring the Right Employees.” Presented by Mark Ricciardi, managing partner of Fisher & Phillips LLP, and Chrystal Harry, human resources analyst for the City of Las Vegas, the program takes place from 9-11 a.m. inside the Las Vegas City Hall Achievement Room, 495 S. This presentation is part of the Human Resources Academy, a series of free seminars aimed at helping local businesses deal with real-life workplace issues that have serious legal consequences. The seminars will take place during the first half of 2016, and the next is scheduled for Feb. 27 and will focus on minimum wage and overtime.
