Director of Public Policy, Research and Analysis
Gabriele McGregor joined The Ferraro Group in 2013 after interning with the firm during the 77th Session of the Nevada Legislature. Her current role as Director of Public Policy, Research and Analysis includes monitoring and working with regulatory, local government, and state government bodies to represent the needs of our clients and providing assistance on multiple levels for campaigns. Ms. McGregor originally hails from Pinckney, Michigan. She moved to Ann Arbor when she began her studies at the University of Michigan, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Political Science. While working towards her degree, she served as a research assistant in the Department of Psychology with Dr. Nnamdi Pole.
Ms. McGregor earned her J.D. at the University of Alabama School of Law. During her studies there, she served as an editor for the Law & Psychology Review and joined the legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi. She also worked as a research assistant for the Honorable Joseph Colquitt. After her graduation from law school, Ms. McGregor returned to Michigan, where she spent a year and a half working at a boutique litigation firm in Ann Arbor, with her practice focusing primarily on post-divorce custody litigation. She co-authored the article “The Alien Claims Tort Act: A Primer”, which was published in the May 2012 issue of the Business Torts Journal of the American Bar Association.
Ms. McGregor came to Nevada in the summer of 2012 as a field organizer with the Obama campaign, where she was responsible for recruiting, organizing, and managing community volunteers and implementing and executing campaign strategy.
