(Las Vegas) – The Keep it Alive Foundation has named Isabella Barricklow the latest recipient of the 2015 Keep It Alive Foundation Dr. Rosemarie Rothe Scholarship Grant.
Isabella Barricklow will be attending Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI in the Fall. Ms. Barricklow was selected based in part to her belief in giving back to the community and she does so by volunteering her time with several organizations. She has been a volunteer teacher, teaching toddlers at a Spanish speaking only preschool; served as club president with the Pioneers Red Cross Club; served as volunteer and recruiting manager for “Teens for Kids” GIVE365; and teaches Sunday school at her local church.
Barricklow is also a member of the National Honor Society and her assistance extends throughout other countries as well. She has visited Mexico, Honduras, Belize and Costa Rica on her many adventures.
The Dr. Rosemarie Rothe memorial scholarship grant is awarded to a high school graduating student each year. The recipient is an individual who aspires to the ideals of teaching that believes in developing the next generation of young leaders and is active in giving back to the community.
