As a public relations account supervisor at The Ferraro Group’s Phoenix office, Alison Walsh’s responsibilities include national and local media pitching, strategic public relations, client relations, creating public relations plans, media relations, social media content, community relations and special event planning.
Alison has worked in public relations and corporate communications for nearly two decades. She has worked both internally and on the agency side, for a wide variety of clients in industries including technology, higher education, non-profit, healthcare, hospitality and homebuilding. She enjoys working with both B2B and B2C clients. Her favorite part of working in PR is the thrill of landing a top-tier national media hit. She also loves writing and engaging with consumers on all social media channels.
Alison served on the board for Girls on the Run of Maricopa County from 2013-2015 and served on the board of both the YMCA Community Board as well as Trendsetters Through Education for several years. She has volunteered with the UMOM New Day Center’s “Read to Me” program and as a dog walker for AZ R.E.S.C.U.E.
Alison is an Arizona native, and currently resides in Scottsdale with her husband, two young sons and her Labradoodle. When she’s not working hard for her clients, she enjoys volunteering, hiking and traveling. You can usually find her trying all the new locally-owned restaurants around town and hanging out with her kids at the library.
