Matt Nielsen joined The Ferraro Group in 2018 as Assistant Account Executive. His responsibilities include assisting with public relations and social media campaigns for clients, planning events, developing content and messaging, research, writing and media relations. Mr. Nielsen’s portfolio of clients spans a wide range of industries including healthcare, education, food and beverage, entertainment and IT.
Before joining The Ferraro Group team, Mr. Nielsen served as brand manager for a YouTube channel, growing the channel to approximately 240,000 subscribers and accruing over 30 million views during his tenure. Prior to that, he interned at the Nevada Small Business Development Center (NSBDC) in Reno, Nevada. While there, he learned to write and review business plans, conduct market research, and interview clients to write stories based on their successes.
A Southern Nevada native, Mr. Nielsen was born and raised in Las Vegas and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno. While working toward his degree, he researched and published a thesis regarding livestream viewer participation habits. In his spare time, he enjoys dancing and karaoke.
