Tommy Ferraro joined The Ferraro Group in December of 2018. As a member of The Ferraro Group’s public affairs team, Mr. Ferraro is responsible for monitoring and reporting on clients’ issues during and outside of legislative sessions, helping manage candidate and ballot question campaigns, and assisting in strategic communications planning for the firm’s clients.
A 5th-generation Nevadan, Mr. Ferraro graduated from Santa Clara University with degrees in Communications and Political Science in 2015. During college, he worked on the successful re-election campaigns of Governor Brian Sandoval and Lt. Governor Mark Hutchison.
Upon graduation, Mr. Ferraro moved to Washington, D.C. to work for U.S. Senator Dean Heller where he began as a staff assistant and was promoted to legislative correspondent. Mr. Ferraro finished his time on the Hill working on Heller’s press team, where he helped prepare the senator for media interviews and speaking engagements.
In 2017, Mr. Ferraro moved to Las Vegas to join Heller’s 2018 re-election campaign as deputy communications director, where he served as a spokesperson and helped manage media outreach. A year later, he was hired by November Inc., a Las Vegas-based political consulting firm, to assist on statewide and local campaigns while continuing to work on Heller’s re-election.
