In early October 2022, TFG helped facilitate a massive transportation announcement with the City of Barstow in California and the BNSF Railway, named The Barstow International Gateway. The first-of-its kind, $1.5 billion dollar 4,5000-acre integrated rail complex will create 20,000 direct and indirect jobs, and reduce port and freeway congestion around the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, thus increasing supply chain efficiency nationwide. The gateway will consist of a rail yard, intermodal facility and warehouses for transloading freight from international containers to domestic containers.
