(Las Vegas) – Grand Canyon Development Partners, a Las Vegas-based construction and real estate development management company, has promoted Terry Barnes to assistant project manager for the Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino. She previously served as the project engineer for the project. In her new position, she will be responsible for the civil engineering review and management of the civil improvements, pool deck and site work along with the hotel structure and finishes.
Prior to joining Grand Canyon Development Partners, Barnes worked for Centex Homes, WA Richardson Builders, AMI Hospitality, Cumming Corporation, and Perini Building Company.
Barnes has more than 15 years of experience in residential, commercial and LEED projects. Her project experience spans several notable projects in the Las Vegas market including LINQ High Roller, The Quad, The Cromwell, The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Barnes has earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering, a Master’s degree in Construction Management as well as Doctorate degree in Development Education.
