During Donate Life Month, Nevada Donor Network and Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam, along with representatives from Nevada Highway Patrol, Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue, REMSA, University of Nevada Police Services and Storey County Fire Protection District gathered together to raise awareness about the lifesaving and healing gift of organ, eye and tissue donation in an effort to “End The Wait” for the more than 100,000 Americans, including nearly 600 Nevadans, waiting for their second chance at life.
